Tim Friesen, CAIB (Hons)
Tim Friesen began his insurance career in 1981. For the last 25 years, he has had a particular focus on agriculture and commercial ag insurance. He joined Lakeview as a partner in 2006, working at the location in Winnipeg. Tim works closely with his son, who is now the 4th generation of their family to be involved in insurance.
Crystal Lanz, CAIB
Sylvan Lake, AB
Crystal Lanz was born and raised on a grain and cattle farm in Springside, Saskatchewan. After graduating from high school, Crystal pursued a career in the insurance industry specializing primarily in farming operations. She has had roles in underwriting, business development and most recently a managing partner at our Lakestone Insurance branch in Alberta where her passion is insuring farms of all sizes and operations.
Crystal is currently a director on the IBAA board and calls Sylvan Lake, Alberta her home. You can find her outdoors with her family when the sun is shining or at her local yoga studio.
Wayne Esau, CAIB
Wayne Esau has been in the insurance industry for over 30 years. He first received his license at 18 years old and spent a few years learning the industry. He then spent a few years building livestock barns and installing farm equipment but was drawn back to insurance. Wayne specializes in Farm and Commercial insurance. In his spare time Wayne enjoys skiing in winter and camping/ fishing in the summer, preferably with his wife Debra, and their grown children.
Dave Nussbaumer, CAIB
Dave Nussbaumer has 27 years experience in the insurance industry and specializes in Specialty Ag Products for Dairy Farms, Seed Growers and Large Grain operations. Retiring from his 2500 acre grain farm in 2014, Dave is now committed to developing and marketing Ag programs for the Lakeview team.
Dave is the past President of the Insurance Brokers Association of Saskatchewan and currently sits on the provincial General Insurance Council.
Rob Selby, CAIB
Robert Selby has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Manitoba and has been involved in the insurance industry for over 10 years, specializing in Ag Business, Seed Growers, and Life insurance. Robert opened our Lakeview Office in his home town of Manitou and is very involved in the community, alongside his wife and three children.
Kirby Stewart, CAIB (Hons)
Kirby Stewart has been an insurance broker for over 16 years. Kirby specializes in insuring Grain & Livestock, Seed Grower, and Dairy operations as well as Agri-Business and Commercial risks.
Kirby lives with his wife and three boys on the family farm near Yorkton where he is actively involved in coaching various youth sports.
Eric Yeager, CAIB (Hons)
Lake Lenore/Humbolt, SK
Eric Yeager has been an insurance broker for over 10 years. An Honours graduate, Eric is extremely knowledgeable with all farm and commercial operations. He specializes in Grain, Seed Growers, Farm Manufacturers and Aviation Insurance products.
Eric is still actively involved in his family grain farm operation near Lake Lenore, where he is also very involved in the community, alongside his wife and four children.
Rob Toews joined Lakeview Insurance in 2008 as a member of the home and auto insurance team. Prior to that he held various roles in the hog industry spanning 10 years. During his tenure at Lakeview he has gained expertise in the poultry, dairy and grain industry with a diverse client base situated throughout the province of Manitoba. Rob currently lives in Steinbach and is an active member of the South Eastman Rotary Club as well as a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. In his spare time he coaches and manages his daughter’s softball and volleyball teams.
