Ranelle grew up on a mixed farm near small town Hague, SK and currently resides in the town of Hague. The farms used to include hogs until 1998, when it became strictly grain farming. Ranelle married in 2007 and moved away from the farm but her husband quickly learned the ropes and continued to help out as much as he could with the harvest until Ranelle’s nephews became old enough to help her father run the farm.
In 2005 Ranelle started working in the insurance industry until fall of 2007 when she took a small break from the insurance world; than was hired in 2009 with Lakeview Insurance. While her position was temporary the company offered her a permanent position in 2010. Ranelle became a licenced personal lines broker in spring of 2011. While she enjoyed her job immensely her growing family required more of her attention. In 2015 Lakeview offered her a producer position that allowed her to work from. Since than Ranelle received her CAIB designation while producing from home as well as following her 3 boys around for all sporting events.
Ranelle is still a farmer at heart and is at the family farm as much as she can be. Her family enjoys learning the ropes of grain farming and all the luxuries the farming lifestyle can provide. She has her parents, aunts and uncles, grandparents, great grandparents and the community of Hague and surrounding area to thank for her knowledge of farming and it’s operations.
