Bringing Supper to the Fields
Harvest season is one of the busiest times of the year for farmers, and our Lakeview teams wanted to find a meaningful way to show our appreciation. Instead of asking farmers to come to us, we decided to bring supper to them. Our teams loaded up meals, gathered local support, and set out to deliver warmth and gratitude, one field at a time.
Yorkton’s Supper in the Field Campaign
Our Yorkton team took the initiative to the next level by organizing their own Supper in the Field campaign. Community members were invited to nominate deserving farm families who go above and beyond in their work and community involvement. These families were then surprised with a freshly prepared meal delivered right to their fields. It wasn’t just about the food, it was about taking a moment to recognize their dedication and to say “thank you” in a personal way.
Norquay’s Supper Bus Delivers
Meanwhile, our Norquay team rolled out something truly unique, their Supper Bus, a converted bus designed to bring a warm, sit-down meal directly to the field. Complete with a cozy dining setup, the Supper Bus gave one hardworking farm family a chance to take a break, enjoy a meal together, and feel appreciated during the height of harvest season. It was a creative and heartwarming way to connect with the people who make so much of what we do possible.
